Say what it is
Metal, stone, weight, size, origin. If a customer has to guess, the listing is not finished.
About us
Five generations as jewellers and brand builders, now based in Antwerp. We took what that taught us about materials, craft and trust, and rebuilt the route to the customer around how people actually shop today — on a phone, on a marketplace, comparing carefully before they commit.
Our story
This family has worked in jewellery for five generations — making it, trading it, and building the names it sells under. That is a long time to watch how the business changes, and to notice when something stops working.
What stopped working was distribution, not demand. The pieces people wanted were sitting behind glass in a shop they visited twice a year, described in a language that assumed you already knew what a carat weight meant.
Unitask was built to close that gap: own the brand, control the specification, explain the product properly, and put it where the customer already is. That meant becoming three companies at once — a designer, a distributor and an e-commerce operator — and refusing to treat any of them as the junior partner.
What we learned turned out not to be about jewellery at all. The same machine works for any considered purchase, so we pointed it at new categories: precision cigar accessories with Colibri, and now the outdoors with Firebird, which takes flame engineering out of the cigar lounge and into the camping market.
The brands we are actively building today are Miore, Orovi, Colibri and Firebird. Others have come before them, and more are in development — the portfolio is meant to change. What stays constant is the operation underneath it: we supply retail and wholesale partners, and we run the marketplace channels our brands sell through.
How we operate
Metal, stone, weight, size, origin. If a customer has to guess, the listing is not finished.
We would rather fix a thousand small things properly than launch one campaign loudly.
Suppliers, partners and colleagues are treated as multi-year commitments, because that is what quality requires.
Demand data, listing scores, returns and reviews decide what we make next — not taste alone.
Where we are
Being in Antwerp is not decoration. It is where five generations of this family have worked in jewellery — close enough to the trade to verify what we buy and to hold suppliers to a standard in person.
It also sits us next to one of Europe's largest ports and in the middle of the continent's logistics network — exactly what a business promising fast delivery to a dozen markets needs, across categories with very different shipping rules.
